Brother Jay

brotherjay_its-all-behind-me-150Brother Jay is no stranger to music, the music industry has just been a stranger to him. For music has been living in his heart and soul for many years and you can feel and hear this in his music. It's all in his sound called "Soul Gospel".

A combination of everything he's ever heard and felt through his life, from Rhythm and Blues, to Jazz, Gospel and all that other stuff,  Brother Jay is sort of like a "Diamond in the Rough" or an unknown star that no one ever noticed except God and a few friends.

Heanon Tate, Bishop

heanon_150Bishop Heanon Tate was a Gospel secret that is no longer a secret.  His music moves your soul to worship.
His voice is a quite storm of wise purposeful thoughts.

Mitchell Jones

Mitchell Jones is a native of gospel music’s reigning capital -Detroit, Michigan. He grew up singing gospel in his teenage years and honed his craft singing in various gospel groups. In 1982, Mitchell joined Keith Staten, Karl Reid, Michael Brooks, Michael Williams and Fred Hammond in forming, the now legendary landmark group, Commissioned.

Jones has been with Commissioned for over 20 years. He is responsible for writing and performing some of their most loved songs including Victory, Only What You Do For Christ Will Last, Hold Me, and Ordinary Just Won’t Do.

Being one of the most recognizable voices in gospel music, Jones is known for his smooth, silky style and his ability to capture the mood and spirit of a song. However, his talents are not limited to writing and singing. Jones is also in high demand for his studio production skills. He has worked with, and written for, such top gospel acts as Angelo and Veronica, Keith Staten, Virtue, as well as Commissioned.

Mitchell Jones’ vision for excellence in music and ministry is carried out through three entities: MPM Productions, Shama Records, and Whole Life Ministries.

Most recently, Jones has re-released a few of those most loved songs on a compilation album, Still Commissioned: The Songs of Mitchell Jones, which includes two songs of his much anticipated first solo project, Beyond the Veil: The Final Destination.
